Surface Planning

Cut, Collect, Carry, Place & Grade

Cutting, collecting, carrying, placing and grading are different tasks. A machine that drags material forward does not necessarily carry a contained load to a distant low area. Break the earthworks into these actions so the route, implement and checking method match the actual work.

Plan the surface handover

BeforeSurvey high areas, receiving areas and obstacles before loading.
Work stageCut workable material, collect a controlled load, travel along a stable route, place where the design needs fill, then make lighter finishing passes.
AfterRecheck levels before another layer or another operation covers the work.

What to verify

Track the destination of material as well as the appearance of the cut.

Confirm the proposed configuration, worksite conditions and intended use before deployment. Describe the function required and assess it with the complete tractor and implement combination. Concept illustrations are not confirmation of available equipment or approved loading.

Scope and limits

Material suitability, safe towing and compaction requirements remain separate decisions.
