Project Stages
Controlled Soil Movement
Controlled soil movement is deliberate placement of suitable material from a defined source to a defined receiving area. The route and load should support that plan.

Plan the surface handover
BeforeIdentify usable source material and destination levels.
Work stageChoose collection, carry and discharge actions that minimise unwanted spill and layer mixing.
AfterGrade and prepare the receiving layer.
What to verify
Check the destination and quantity as well as the cut location.
Each project stage has a receiving operation and an acceptance question. Record what is complete, what remains and which reference the next team should use. Correct quantities before refining geometry, and do not cover an unaccepted layer simply to keep the sequence moving.
Scope and limits
An implement cannot make unsuitable material suitable merely by transporting it.
Continue the job brief
Include the location, existing condition, intended surface, material, available tractor and proposed dates.
