Finished Surface Handover

A finished-surface handover records the surface that has been delivered and the evidence supporting it. It should identify what was checked and what lies outside the grading scope.

Plan the surface handover

BeforeAgree the finished purpose and acceptance responsibilities.
Work stageCombine level checks, relevant material records, design revision and observations into a clear handover.
AfterRelease the area to use or the next construction stage when accepted.

What to verify

Retain unresolved items and limits alongside the acceptance record.

Each project stage has a receiving operation and an acceptance question. Record what is complete, what remains and which reference the next team should use. Correct quantities before refining geometry, and do not cover an unaccepted layer simply to keep the sequence moving.

Scope and limits

The term finished should not imply certification beyond the checks actually performed.
