Agricultural Soil Redistribution

Agricultural soil redistribution is useful when productive material can move from a confirmed surplus to a confirmed deficit without damaging the soil profile. The cut depth is as important as the final level.

Plan the surface handover

BeforeMeasure the growing layer and map proposed cuts.
Work stageKeep subsoil and topsoil movements separate where needed; minimise traffic over completed crop areas.
AfterRebuild the required growing surface and cultivation condition.

What to verify

Compare soil-layer depth before and after work.

Material roles matter as much as surface levels. Growing medium, structural fill and pavement aggregate should not be treated as interchangeable simply because all can be moved by a scraper. The preparation and acceptance method must follow the intended layer.

Scope and limits

Do not promise crop benefits without field evidence and agronomic assessment.
